Blair Construction, Inc. has filled a new position with a familiar face. Robert Morton, who had been with the company part-time while finishing his building construction degree, transitioned into his new full-time role as an assistant project manager.
In addition to his prior experience with the company, Morton’s resume includes a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a focus in Sustainable Building Performance from Virginia Tech. He also earned a minor in agribusiness management and entrepreneurship.
As Blair’s newest assistant project manager, Morton will manage ongoing projects, meet with new clients, and create job estimates.
“Blair Construction has prepared me for this opportunity and a post-college career in the construction industry by allowing me to participate in a wide array of tasks during my time here,” Morton said. “I am able to put into practice the knowledge I learned at Virginia Tech and help Blair Construction continue to operate at a high level.”
